Family Tree Fundraising LLC was formed in 1988 in Hutchinson, Kansas, and has
been developing great fundraising ideas since. The founders and owners, Kent
and Janice Nall, built their company based upon family values. Kent was a high
school teacher/coach. Janice was in customer support. Kent and Janice have
three sons. A lot of their “quality time” was spent working together, running the
family business. The family would not have wanted it any other way.
Kent ran seven fundraisers in one year as a teacher and coach. He realized
quickly that it was not just about selling product, but getting families and
friends involved in a fun way. He wanted to improve on the fundraising business
model where a company cared about its clients and their customers. Family Tree
Fundraising was one of the first companies to provide student packing, online
sales, and ship to home. Family Tree Fundraising was the first to provide on the
spot credit and debit card payments by customers for free to clients. Kent with
his two sons, Justin and Jacob, founded PayThankYou LLC. Innovation,
creativity, and experience have made Kent, Janice, and Justin leaders in the
fundraising industry.
Family Tree Fundraising started by manufacturing their own products made of
wood. As they grew, they changed their business model and began to add new
products and services. The company moved to Kearney, MO in 1991 and built a
4,500 square foot warehouse. Initially, they serviced clients in the Kansas City
Metro area including Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Liberty, Olathe, Park Hill, and
surrounding towns within one hour driving distance. The company now provides
services where it is needed.

your time is valuable and important. After all, you want to spend time with your
children. We consider it our job to make sure your fundraiser is successful and
